A Safety Programme based on Choices and Consequences.

SafeWise is a Safety Programme developed for Young people in Year 9 and above.

Availability: Weekdays for schools and colleges

Time: 10 AM – 2 PM

Duration: 4 Hours

Group Size: Up to 24 young people, plus supervising adults

Overview: The SafeWise programme is expertly designed for young people in Year 9 and above, focusing on critical safety and wellbeing issues relevant to this age group.

Programme Details: SafeWise provides a comprehensive and immersive learning experience which can be tailored to the needs and requests of each visiting group. Our sessions, led by the Fire Service and other expert partners, include:

  • Fire Safety: Techniques and knowledge for preventing and responding to fires.
  • Crime and Consequences: Understanding the impact of criminal behaviour.
  • Introduction to Mental Health: Basic mental health awareness and coping strategies.
  • Water Safety: Essential safety practices to prevent water-related accidents.
  • Online Safety: Tips for staying safe online.

 

Booking Information:

Spaces for this programme are extremely limited so each group will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
