Bespoke Visits
A Safety Central visit to meet your needs...
Whilst we offer a range of programmes, we understand that these will not always fit the requirements of a group who would benefit from the experience of visiting Safety Central.
With this in mind, we can offer bespoke visits to the centre to support the needs of those who may not be in or able to access mainstream education, would be unable to access our learning through our other programmes or who are looking for something a little bit different.
Our team have a great deal of knowledge and experience working with children and young people with additional support and learning needs. We develop our programmes to ensure they are flexible and adaptable, but we would like to work with you, the experts, to ensure visits are meaningful for all.
The rangers who support our delivery have a wealth of knowledge to support our programmes too. We want to ensure any visitor to our centre can access all the learning, build their understanding and be immersed in all we have to offer.
Adaptations we may be able to make include:
- Extended sessions.
- Changes to break and lunch times
- Additional learning around key safety issues for a specific group.
- Adapted KS1/KS2 programmes – To deliver messages in a way that can be understood regardless of the age of a visitor.
- Input from partners at a level which can be understood and processed (within the KS3 programme).
