Helping you and those you care for stay safe and well. That’s our simple goal at Safety Central, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service’s award-winning education centre at Lymm near Warrington. If you’re a school, college, youth group or community group, read on for details of our exciting FREE learning programmes.
If you are interested in joining our lovely team of volunteers
Immersive, interactive, inspiring
Our realistic £4.5m indoor village boasts world-class special effects and the latest technology to simulate a range of hazards and risks. Talented rangers lead visitors through four themed zones and set exciting challenges and activities that encourage learning through hands-on experience.
We’re not all about preventing fires. We also explore safety on the roads, near trains and around water, as well as issues such as healthy living, anti-social behaviour and online safety.
We cover schools, colleges, youth and community groups across Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Halton and Warrington.
